Alachua County   } Know all Men by these presents that I
S.F. Harvard of the State & County aforesaid, for and in
Consideration of the Sum of Six Thousand dollars to me
in hand paid by Berry Hendry of the County & State above
mentioned, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge
have granted, bargained Sold released & by these presents
do grant, bargain, Sell and release unto the said
Berry Hendry his heirs & assigns all that lot or tract
of land Situate lying and being in the Town of Gaines
-ville, and Known and described as Lot (2) two Range
(7) According to the plat of the Town of Gainesville, To
Have & to Hold Said lot of land to him and his heirs
& assigns, And the said Stephen F. Harvard, will forever
warrant and defend to the said Berry Hendry the
above described lot of land, Given under my hand and
Seal this 19th day of October 1864

                          And this Indenture further Witnesseth
that L.A. Harvard making her Self a party to the Covenant of
her husband S.F. Harvard hereby renounces and relinquishes
forever to the Said party of the Second part all her title
interest, right of dower in the hereinbefore described and
Conveyed land and premises - In Witness Whereof I have
hereunto Set my hand and Seal this the 31st day of October
AD 1864

Alachua County   } To all to whom it may Concern, Be it
Known that personally appeared before me L.A. Harvard
wife of the above named S.F. Harvard, who being Separate
and apart from her husband, acknowledged that the above
relinquishment and renunciation of dower is made freely
and Voluntarily, and without any Compulsion, Constraint
apprehension or fear of her said husband
Given under my hand & Seal at Gainesville this the 31st day
