Alachua County   } Know all men by these
                 } presents that I Reuben
S. Stoughton of State and County aforesaid
do hereby sell bargain & deliver unto George
S. Riggs for & in consideration of his
Note (due on the first day of January 1867)
for one hundred & twenty five Dollars
that lot of land beginning at the North
West corner of a lot belonging to H.W.
Faulkner, running thence north to corner
of a lot owned by Geo S. Riggs One hundred
& twenty five feet more or less thence run-
ning East (420 feet) four hundred & twenty
feet, thence running South One hundred
& twenty five feet more or less thence
running west four hundred & twenty
feet to the point of beginning.
To have and to hold the said land
& premises and every part thereof with
the appurtenances unto the said G.S. Riggs
his heirs and assigns forever as fully
and absolutely as I R.S. Stoughton might
could or ought to sell & convey the same
In witness whereof I hereunto set my

right of Dower in the certain parcel of
