This Indenture made on this the fifth
day of February in the year of our
Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and Sixty seven by and between
Stephen F. Harvard and Letitia
A. Harvard his wife of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida
parties of the first part and Elise 
M. Haile of the said County and
State party of the second part.
  Witnesseth that the said party
of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of Seven
hundred and fifty Dollars and
forty nine cents to them in hand
paid at and before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents
the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged as well as for a
certain promissory Note signed by
the said party of the second part
for the amount of Seven hundred
and forty nine Dollars and fifty
cents dated December the thirty first
Anno Domini Eighteen hundred
& sixty six and made payable
to the said Stephen F. Harvard
Twelve months after the date last
above written Have granted
bargained, sold released and
confirmed and by these presents
do grant bargain sell release and
confirm unto the said Elise M. Haile
her heirs, Executors, administrators
and assigns all that certain tract
parcel or lot of Land situated in
the Town of Gainesville, County and State
aforesaid and Known and described
as follows, viz as McDonell lot
upon which James D. Matheson now
resides and bounded on the North
by land belonging to W.J. McCormick
on the South by Lands belonging
to J.R. Bevill on the East by
Main Street running North and
South through the said Town of
Gainesville and on the west by
Lands belonging to Thomas R. Kennedy
