hension or fear of or from my said husband

thereby renounce & relinquish all my right of

of land thereby conveyed to James A. Simonton

Whereas I Richard Doby a coloured man
of the County of Alachua & State of Florida
am now farming upon the Adamson place in
said County and being desirous of Securing
J.D. Matheson & Co in what I am now indebted
to them and being anxious to procure further
supplies & necessaries for myself & family, do
hereby liened the crop of cotton & corn or my
interest therein which may be raised by me
or which I may be interested in during
the year A.D. 1867. And hereby declare that
this creates a lien or Mortgage upon my
