he agreed and contracted to sell unto said
John Powers a certain tract of land Known
as the Barrow Hammock being the North East
quarter of Section No. Six of Township No 8, S of
Range 19 East containing One hundred and
Sixty acres for the price and sum of
Four hundred Dollars to be paid in the
manner specified in said contract and
payment whereof was in part made at
the date of said contract and whereas said
contract was afterwards assigned and made
over by said John Powers to the said party
of the second part and whereas the said
Thomas E. Barrow died in the year 1860
and said contract remained unfilled no
deed having been executed by him in his
life time and whereas Administration upon
the Estate of said Thomas E. Barrow was granted
by the Probate Court of Levy County
Florida to the party of the first part Now there-
fore in consideration of the premises and
of the sum of Five hundred fifteen 33/100 dollars
lawful money of the United States to her in
hand paid by the said party of the
second part the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged and in conformity
with the statute of the State of Florida
in such case made and provided the
said party of the first part Admistratrix
of the said Thomas E. Barrow deceased and
in her own behalf hath granted bargained
and sold and by these Presents doth grant
bargain and sell unto the said party of the
Second part her heirs and assigns forever
All that certain tract of land Known as the
Barrow Hammock being the North East quarter of
Section Number Six (6) of Township Eight (8)
South of Range Number Nineteen (19) lying and
being in the county of Alachua and State
aforesaid to Have and to hold all and
singular the above described premises with
the appurtenances unto the said party of the
second part her heirs and assigns forever
and the said party of the first part doth
hereby convey the same as fully and absolutely
as by virtue of the contract and authority
confirmed on her by law she can might
or ought to convey the same and doth
