Know all men by these presents that for and in consideration
of the sum of Five dollars to me in hand paid by Laura
Stringer, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
remised, released, and quit claim, all my right and
interest in the foregoing described land conveyed by my 
husband Francis A. Hendry to the said Laura Stringer and
hereby relinquish all my right of dower in and to the
same, Given under my hand & seal this the Eighteenth day
of October AD 1866

State of Florida } Be it remembered and it is hereby
Polk County      } certified that on this Eighteenth day of
October 1866 before J.H. Durrance a Justice of the peace
in and for the County and State aforesaid personally appe
=ared Adeline R. Hendry wife of Francis A. Hendry, who
executed the foregoing Deed of Conveyance and in
private examination, acknowledged and agreed that
she did of her own free will and accord, Subscribe, seal
and deliver the foregoing deed with an intention thereby
to renounce, give up and forever quit claim her right
of dower and thirds, and all her other interest of into and
to the lands or tenements therein mentioned

  This Indenture made this Seventeenth day of December
One thousand Eight hundred & sixty three, Between Jane C.
Rieves of the County of Chatham State of Georgia of the first part
and Stephen Bryan of the County of Alachua & State of Florida of
the Second part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration
of the sum of the sum of Two thousand dollars good and 
lawful money of the Confederate States to her in hand paid
at and before the delivery hereof the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, hath bargained and sold & by
these presents doth bargain, sell and convey unto the said
party of the second part all that certain piece or parcel
