County of Alachua } This Indenture made this
                   the tenth day of April
in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight
hundred & sixty seven between D.G. Anderson
of Chester District State of South Carolina party
of the first part and Mary E. Scott wife of
William P. Scott of the County and State
first above written party of the second
part, Witnesseth that the said party of
the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of four hundred & fifty
dollars lawful money of the United
States to him in hand paid by the
said party of the second part and to her
heirs and assigns forever all that certain
Lot, parcel or tract of Land situated in
the County and State first above written
near the town of Gainesville and lying
East of Sweet Water Branch and A. Mathesons
lot and described as follows, Commencing
at the South East corner of Stephen McCalls
lot and running South three hundred feet to
the corner dividing A. Mathesons, and S.B.
Thompsons lot and then running directly
East forty feet which is hereby left for a
Street here we make the North West corner
of Mary E. Scotts lot of four acres and then
running South two hundred feet to a Stake
then East Eight hundred & seventy two feet
to a Stake then North two hundred feet to
a Stake then West Eight hundred & seventy
two feet to the corner of beginning con-
taining four Acres more or less all of which
lies in Section four Township ten South of
Range Twenty East, together with all and
singular the hereditaments and appur-
tenances thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining and the reversion
and reversions remainder and remainders
rents Issues and proffits thereof and also
all the estate right title interest claim
or demand whatsoever of him the said
party of the first part either in law or Equity
