Putnam County    } One thousand eight hundred
                 } and fifty six before me
John C. McMillan Clerk of Circuit
Court of Putnam County personally
appeared William E. Collier and
Sarah his wife to me known to be the
two grantors named in the foregoing
Deed of Conveyance and severally
acknowledged the same to be their
act and deed and the said Sarah A. Collier
being by me examined privately seperately
and apart from her said husband acknowledged
that she has executed the same for the
purpose of releasing and relinquishing
her Dower in the premises described
in said Deed of conveyance and that
her Execution thereof and her relinquish-
ment and renunciation of dower in the
said premises was and is made freely
and voluntarily and without any com-
pulsion - constraint, apprehension or fear
of and from her husband, in witness
whereof the said Sarah A. Collier has
hereunto set her hand and seal and
made said acknowledgement in my
presence seperate and apart from
her said husband and I have also
hereunto set my hand and seal the
day and year aforesaid.

and County aforesaid of the first
part and John L. Adams of the second
part Witness that the said Eli N. Adkins
for and in consideration of the sum
of five hundred dollars to him in hand
