State of Florida } This Indenture made this
Alachua County   } Eight day of January A.D. Eighteen
                   hundred and sixty seven between
Maria Soubray of the County and State afore-
said party of the first part and Richard
Small of the same place party of the second
part  Witnesseth that the party of the
first part for and in consideration of
the sum of Two hundred & fifty dollars
to her in hand paid at and before the
sealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath bargained and sold and by these presents
doth grant and convey unto the party
of the second part all that certain parcel
of land lying and being situate near the
Town of Newnansville and described
as the extreme south East corner of the
East half of the West half of the NE1/4 of
Section Eleven (11) Township Eight (8) S
Range Eighteen (18) containing one quarter
of an acre more or less, also lot
measuring twenty one yards on the line
running North and South and twenty two
yards on the line running East & west
bounded East by a lot owned by Hester
Valentine and on the South by a lot
owned by Maria Soubray & North & West by
lands belonging formerly to A.M. Caston
     To have and to hold the above de-
scribed premises to the party of the second
part (together with all appurtenances) his
heirs and assigns forever in fee simple
and the above premises to the party of the
second part his heirs and assigns the
party of the first part his heirs and 
assigns will warrant and forever defend
against the claim or claims of all persons
whomsoever. In witness whereof the party
of the first part hath hereunto set her hand
and seal the day and year first above written
