Alachua County   } This Indenture made
                 } and executed this the
twenty fourth day of November in the year of
our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and
fifty-six between Calvin Waits of the
State and County aforesaid of the first
part and John L. Adams of the second
part, Witness that the said Calvin Waits
for and in consideration of the sum of six
hundred and fifty dollars to him in hand
paid by the said John L. Adams the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted
bargained sold and released and by
these presents doth grant, bargain sell and
release and deliver unto the said John
L. Adams his heirs and assigns all of
the following described lots or parcels of
land lying and being in the County of
Alachua and known as the NW1/4 of the
NE1/4 of section (21) twenty-one in Township
(10) Ten, South of Range (22) twenty two east
containing 39 95/100 Thirty nine 95/100 acres also
the E1/2 of the NW1/4 and the SW1/4 of the
NE1/4 of section (21) Twenty one in Township
(10) Ten South of Range (22) East contain-
ing One hundred and nineteen acres and 
85/100 (100 & 85/100) acres, to have and to hold
the said before described premises together
with all and singular the rights and
appurtenances thereunto belonging to him
the said John L. Adams his heirs Executors
and administrators and assigns in fee
simple and the said Calvin Waits
for himself his heirs, Executors and adminis-
trators will warrant and forever defend
the right and title thereunto against the
