County of Alachua } Know all men by these presents
                    that I James Jack of said
County for and in consideration of one hundred and
seventy five dollars to me in hand paid the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged do give grant bargain
sell and convey unto Walter S. Land of said State and
County aforesaid all that entire piece or parcel of land
lying and being in or near the Town of Gainesville in
the County and State aforesaid to wit Commencing on the
Street leading from Gainesville to Depot on the West side
of said Street, two hundred feet from Lands granted
to the Rail Road Company running west one hundred
feet, running North along said Street one hundred feet
making a lot one hundred feet square with all the privileges
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining to have and to hold the above granted
premises to the said Walter S. Land his heirs Executors
administrators and assigns forever in fee simple
    And I the said James Jack my heirs Executors
administrators assigns do covenant with the said 
Walter S. Land his heirs and Executors, administrators
and assigns that I will and my heirs Executors ad-
ministrators and assigns shall warrant and defend the
same to the said Walter S. Land his heirs Executors
administrators and assigns against the lawful claim
and demands of all persons.
     And I, Elizabeth H. Jack the wife of the
said James Jack for the consideration aforesaid and
