State of Fla   } Know all men by these
Alachua County } presents that I John W.
                 Duren of the County of Alachua
and State aforesaid have bargained grant
ed and sold unto James M. Richardson
his heirs Executors administrators all
that certain Lot tract or parcel of Land
lying situate and being in the town of
Gainesville State and County aforesaid
known and described as follows Lot No
(2) two Block (3) three Range (6) six with all the
improvements thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining also one mare mule
named "Kit" (bay color) 8 yrs old, also one Mule
named "Jack" (sorrel color) 3 yrs old.
  I do warrant and defend the said Land
Stock &c to the said J.M. Richardson his heirs
administrators and assigns against all law
full claims.
  The nature of this obligation is this if the
said John W. Duren shall truly pay to James
M. Richardson his heirs administrators and 
assigns the amount of two certain promissory
notes bearing even date with these presents
and for the following sums *** one for
one hundred & sixty nine Dollars & 90/100 Dollars with
interest from January last at eight per cent,
payable one day after date to J.M. Richardson
& Co, One for three hundred & fifty one dollars
& nine cents payable one day after date
to J.M. Richardson & Co, and all  other law-
ful claims which the said James M. Richardson
may have against the said John W. Duren, by the
first day of January 1868, then this mortgage
shall be null and void, if not paid to
remain in full force and effect,
Witness my hand and seal this the 29th day of
April 1867.

Deed of Mortgage on the parcel of land in the Town of 
Gainesville Known and described as Lot No (2) two Block
three Range six (6) has been & is hereby canceled annulled
extinguished, Witness my hand & seal this seventeenth day of
