Alachua County   } This Indenture made this
                   the Twentieth seventh (27)
day of April Eighteen hundred and sixty
seven between Isaac B. Nichols of the
County of Alachua & State of Florida and
James B. Brown of the same place
           Witnesseth that the said I.B.
Nichols party of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of Eleven hundred
Dollars to him in hand paid before the
delivery hereof hath bargained and sold
and by these presents doth grant bargain
sell and convey to the said James B.
Brown his heirs and assigns forever
all that certain peice or parcel of land
lying and being in said County & State
within the limits of the town of Gaines-
ville and which is known and described
as the North portion of Lot one in Block
Three (3) & Range (4) four and containing
sixty feet (60) by Ninety one (91) feet upon which
a Stable is now situated together with
all and singular the tenements, hered-
itaments and appurtenances and all the
Estate title and interest of the said party
of the first part therein. To have and to
hold the same unto the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns forever
       And the said party of the first
part doth hereby warrant and defend 
the above granted premises in the quiet 
and pecable possession of the said
party of the second part his heirs and
assigns forever.
