Alachua County   } This Indenture made this first day
of January in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight
hundred & sixty seven, Between Dr William H. Bracy
and his wife Betty Bracy parties of the first part and
James R. Fordville party of the second part Witnesseth
that the said parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of three hundred
dollars lawful money well and truly paid at and
before the sealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath, bargained, sold, and conveyed and by these
presents doth bargain, sell, and convey unto the
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
all that Lott or parcel of land, situate, lying and 
being in the town of Gainesville in said County, being
the West half of Lott No (20) twenty containing one
acre more or less being in the part of Gainesville known
as the Geo R. Fairbanks Lott - To Have and to Hold
said bargained presents to him the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple
and the said party of the first part for themselves their
heirs executors, administrators and assigns said
bargained premises with the rights members and 
all the appurtinances to the same belonging or in any
wise appertaining shall and will forever warrant
and defend and the right & title thereto unto the
said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns
from and against him and themselves and against
the claims of all other persons whatsoever - In Witness
whereof the said parties of the first part hath hereunto
set their hands and seals the day and year first above
written.
