A. Gardner wife of J.C. Gardner for the consider-
tion aforesaid and for divers other good and
valuable Consideration do hereby release and
quit claim unto my sister Mary Ann Matheeny her
heirs and assigns all my right claim or possabil-
ity of dower in or out of the afore described prem-
ises

County of Alachua } This Indenture made this the
                    Eighth day of May Eighteen
hundred & Sixty seven between Mary A.
Matheny of the State and County aforesaid
of the first part and G. Joseph of the same
State & County of the second part. Witnesseth
that the said Mary A. Matheny for and in
consideration of the sum of One thousand Eight
Hundred Dollars to her in hand paid
by the said G. Joseph the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, does by these presents
give grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said G. Joseph a certain peice or parcel
of land lying and being in the town of
Gainesville State and County aforesaid
& Known & distinguished in the plan of said
town as the North portion of Block two Range
two containing Sixty feet front and running
