                     The undersigned appointed
arbitrators to adjust & Settle a Matter of difference
between George Bucklin and Isaac B. Nichols as to
their Copartnership account for the year 1866 do hereby
agree that the property left in possession of George Bucklin
and described in Invoice Signed by the Said parties
be Sold at Public Auction to the highest bidder by S.
W. Burnett Esqr Auctioneer on Saturday the 4th day
of May AD 1867, and that the proceeds ensuing from Said
Sales be placed in the hands of George Bucklin and by him
to be accounted for in the General and Plantation account. It
is distinctly understood that this property Shall remain in
the hands of George Bucklin until the Cash is paid for
them, of the parties purchasing any of the said articles
and do not call for and pay for the same within
five days from the date of Sale, then the said goods
will be appraised or resold at the option of the
arbitrators -----  Given under our hands and Seals
