Witnesseth that the said Kindred
Boyt for and in consideration of
the sum of two hundred & sixty
Dollars to him in hand paid
by the hand by the said J.M. Hawthorn
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
that granted bargained sold conveyed
and delivered and by the presents doth
grant bargain sell convey and deliver
unto the said J.M. Hawthorn his heirs
and assigns all the following described
lot or parcels of land lying and being
in the County and State aforesaid
and known as the North West quarter
of North East quarter of section No 13 in
Township No 10 South of Range No 20 east
containing forty acres and thirteen hundreth
  To have and to hold the said before
described premises together with all the
right and title and appurtenances there
unto belonging to him the said J.M.
Hawthorn his heirs and assigns forever
in fee simple, the said Kindred Boyt for
themselves his heirs executors, administrators
will forever defend the right and title
thereunto against the claim of all persons
whatever in testimony whereof the said
Kindred Boyt has hereunto set his hand
and seal the day and year afore-
written
