saw the foregoing deed signed sealed & delivered
for the purposes therein set forth acknowledged

  Know all men by these presents that we William G.
Ferris of the City of Tampa and State of Florida
merchant and Eliza M. Ferris his wife, have made
constituted and appointed and by these presents do
make, constitute and appoint Jessie T. Bernard of
Newnansville in the State of Florida attorney at Law
our true and lawful attorney for us and in our name
place and stand, to enter into and take possession of all that
certain messuage or parcel of land with the appurtinances
known and described as the south half of the South East
Quarter, and the North West quarter of the South East
quarter and South East quarter of the South West
quarter containing One hundred & fifty five and seventy
six one hundredths of an acre (155 76/100) acres of Land and North
half of the South West quarter all in Section ten (10) in
Township Eight (8) South of Range eighteen (18) containing Eighty
acres more or less situate in the County of Alachua
and State aforesaid and to grant, bargain and sell
the same for such sum or price and on such terms as
to him shall seem just, and for us and in our name
to make execute and deliver title Bond, and to make
execute, acknowledge and deliver good and sufficient
Deed or Deeds and Conveyances for the same either with
or without covenants and warranty; and the said Eliza
M. Ferris do by these presents authorize and empower
our said attorney to convey relinquish and release to
the purchaser or purchasers of the above described land
all her dower or right of dower therein and to recover
and receive all sums of money which shall become due
and owing to us by means of such bargain and sale and
to take all lawful ways and means for the recovery thereof
and to execute and deliver sufficient discharges and 
acquittances therefore with power of substitution and
revocations; giving and granting unto our said attorney
full power and authority to do and perform every act
and thing whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done
in and about the premises, as fully to all intents and
purposes as we might or could or do if personally present
