Alachua County } on this the fifth day of
March 1867 Phillip Dell
and his wife Mary, both to me well
known and I hereby certify that the
said Philip Dell acknowledged that he
signed the foregoing Deed for the purposes
therein mentioned and that his wife Mary
on a private examination by me separate
and apart from her husband did also
acknowledge that she signed the foregoing
relinquishment of dower freely and volun-
tarily and without any apprehension constraint or
fear of or from her said Husband and in
evidence thereof hath hereunto set her hand &
Seal in my presence. }

State of Florida } This Indenture made
Marion County } the 26th day of February
} in the year of our Lord
Eighteen hundred and sixty seven between
Francis L. Freyer of the first part and Limas
A. Andrew Agents for the Methodist Episcopal
Colored Church in the Town of Micanopy
of the second part, Witnesseth, That for
and in consideration of the sum of Fifty
dollars to said Francis Freyer in hand paid
the receipt of which is herein acknowledged
has bargained, sold, granted and conveyed
and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell
convey and confirm unto the said party
of the second part forever One acre of
Land for the purpose of building a church
on the same in the town of Micanopy
County of Alachua State of Florida in
section twenty six, Township eleven Range
twenty and described as follows viz
commencing on the Road leading to
Ocala at the corner of William Edwards
Fence as it now stands (now said to be
owned by Penny Law) dividing said fence |
