State of Florida } This Indenture made
County of Alachua } this the 28th day of May
} A.D. 1867 between James
Beattie of the 1st part and Ann Beattie Mother
of said James Beattie of the second part
both of said County. Witnesseth that the said
James Beattie for and in consideration of the
natural love and affection which he has
unto his Mother Ann Beattie hath given, granted
released, aliened and conveyed unto the
said Ann Beattie her heir and assigns all
that peice or parcel of land lying and
being in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida Known and distinguished
as section (33) thirty three Township (9) nine
and Range twenty (20) situated in the
"Aradonda Grant" containing (640) Six hun-
dred and forty acres with the rights
membranse and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in any wise appertaining,
To have and to hold said premises
to the said Ann Beattie her heirs and assigns
forever, And the said James Beattie
doth covenant with the said Ann Beattie
her heirs and assigns that he will & his
heirs Executors & administrators shall the
said premises forever save & Keep harmless from
any incumbrances or conveyance made and
executed by said James Beattie & any person
claiming under him.
And I G.C. Beattie wife of the said
James Beattie for and in consideration of the
natural love & affection I have to my mother-
in law the Ann Beattie & the further consid-
eration of one dollar to me in hand paid
do hereby release & relinquish all my right
claim or possibility of dower into or out of the
above described premises
In testimony whereof the said James Beattie &
G.C. Beattie have hereunto set their hands and
seals the day & date above written,
