County of Alachua } This Indenture made this the first day
of January in the year Eighteen hundred & sixty seven between
John H. Mingert of the County and State aforesaid of the first part
and Charles W. Druack and Wm F. Nigles of the same State
and County of the second part Witnesseth that the said
John H. Mingert for and in consideration of the sum of Fifteen
hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Charles
W. Druack and Wm F. Nichles the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, does by these presents, give, grant, bargain
sell and convey unto the said Charles W. Druack & Wm F.
Nichles, their heirs and assigns a certain lot, piece or parcel of
land lying and being in the Town of Gainesville, State and County
aforesaid and known & distinguished on map of said Town as
the South half of Lot No 1 Block three (3) Range four (4) containing
a front of sixty feet by depth sixty feet, it being the premises pur
=chased from William Chappel and Stephen McCall as
attorney in fact for Edward Lang in two Sectional deeds of
conveyance together with all the privileges and appurtinances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining To Have & to hold
the above granted premises to the said Charles W. Druack & Wm
F. Nichles their heirs and assigns forever in fee simple, And I
the said John H. Mingert will and his heirs Executors and
administrators shall the said property to the said Charles
W. Druack and Wm F. Nichles their heirs Executors and admin
=istrators, forever warrant and defend against the lawful claims
of all persons whatsoever. And I B. Margaret Mingert
wife of the said John H. Mingert for the consideration aforesaid,
and for divers other good and valuable considerations, do hereby
release and quit claim unto the said Charles W. Druack &
Wm F. Nichles their heirs Executors & Administrators all my right
claim or possession of dower in or out of the afore described
premises - In testimony Whereof in the said John H. Mingert &

John H. Mingert, and acknowledged that in examination made
separate and apart from her said husband that she made
her self a party to the foregoing deed of conveyance of relinquish
=ment & renunciation of Dower, is made freely & voluntarily, and
without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension, or fear of or from her
said husband, Given under my hand & seal this January 1st
