This Indenture made this First
day of February One thousand Eight hundred & Sixty Seven
between John O. Cosby Sheriff of Alachua County and
State of Florida of the First part and Jane A.L. Ingram
of the Same County & State of the Second part, Whereas by
virtue of Sundry writs of Firi Facias issued out of the
Circuit Court in and for the County of Alachua and
State of Florida, and to the Said Sheriff delivered he was
Commanded, that of the goods & chattels lands & tenements of
Alexander Matheson he cause to be made the Sum of Money
with interest thereon & Costs of Suits as respectively appears
in the Suits themselves which Philip Hammond and
others lately recovered in the Circuit Court of Alachua
County against Alexander Matheson - And that
Whereas the Said Sheriff by virtue of Said writs did levy
upon and Seize the property herein after mentioned &
described - And whereas the Said Sheriff John O. Cosby
as aforesaid did Virtue of Said writ and pursuant to
the Statutes in Such case made and provided, duly adver
=tised the Said property for Sale on the first Monday of January
