 This Indenture made this the fourteenth day of June
one thousand eight hundred & sixty two between David A.
Frier of the County of Alachua and State of Florida party of
the first part and Edwin S. Gunnell of the same place
of the Second part - Witness that the party of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of
Eleven hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at
and before the sealing and delivery of these presents
that receipt where of is hereby acknowledged has
bargained sold delivered and conveyed and by
these presence doth bargain sell alien and convey
unto the party of the second part all that certain
parcel or tract of land lying and being cituated
in the County of Alachua and State of Florida
and known and designated as the South west
quarter and the South west quarter of the North
west quarter of Section Sixteen in Township seven
South of Range nineteen east containing Two
hundred acres more or less with all the appurtenances
thereunto belonging to have and to hold the above
granted premises to the party of the second part his
heirs and assigns forever and I the said party of 
the first part for my self my heirs executors and
administrators do covenant with the party of the 
second part his heirs and assigns that the said
bargained premises are free from all incumbrances
and that I will and my heirs executors and
administrators shall warrant and forever defend
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this the day and year first above
written signed sealed and }
delivered in presence of  }  David A. Frier

Alachua County   } I Sarah A. Frier wife
of David A. Frier grantor of the foregoing deed
of conveyance for and in consideration of these
presences in said deed received and of the
                        me
sum of one dollar to her^in hand paid
at and before signed and delivery of these
presents do hereby renunceation release
relinquish and forever quit claim all my dower
or right of dower of in and to the premises by said
deed conveyed as freely and absolute as I might
or could do the same Witness my hand and seal
this June 20 day AD 1862
