me separate and apart from her husband did further
acknowledge, that she signed said deed freely and
voluntarily and without any apprehension, constraint or
fear of or from her said husband, for the purposes
of releasing & relinquishing all her dower and right of
dower in and to said premises, and in evidence thereof

Alachua County   } This Indenture entered into on this
the 5th day of March 1863 between James B. Bailey of the
one part and D.M. Finger and F.V. Seagle known and
trading under the name and Style of Finger & Seagle
of the other part, Witnesseth, for and in considera
=tion of three hundred & fifty dollars the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged the said Baily has
this day bargained, and sold, to the said Finger &
Seagle the following Lot or parcel of land, to wit,
Beginning at a Stake on the South side of the Street
leading West from the NW Corner of the Court House
Square in the Town of Gainesville County & State aforesaid
Section Five, township 10 Range 20 Arredondo Grant two
hundred & Seventy Six (276) feet from the North West
Corner of the lot now owned and occupied by the
Hon J.B. Dawkins, and running West along said road
four hundred & twenty (420) feet thence South three
hundred & fifteen (315) feet thence East four hundred
& twenty feet (420) 
thence North to point of beginning, To Have and to
hold to their heirs executors, administrators or assigns
forever, the said Baily does further covenant, with the
said Finger & Seagle that he is lawfully seized of the above
lot of land containing three acres more or less that he
has good right to sell the same and that he will
warrant and defend them in the peaceable possession
of the same against the legal claims of all persons
whomsoever- In Witness whereof I have hereunto put
my hand & seal the day and year first above written
