property for sale on the 4th of March AD 1867 being the day
and date of these presents, and did on this day sell the
same at public auction, according to Law to the said J.R.
Bevill for the sum of Four hundred dollars, being the highest
bidder for the same Now therefore know ye that I
the said John O. Cosby Sheriff as aforesaid by virtue of
said writ, and the statutes in such case made and
provided in consideration of Four hundred dollars to me
paid by the party of the second part have granted barg
=ained, and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain
and Sell, unto the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns forever the following property to wit, Lot No 5
R one (1) Block three (3) in the town of Newnansville and
County of Alachua containing two acres more or less together
with all the rights, titles, and interest which the said
David A. Frier had in said property jointly and severally
and the same to hold and convey as fully as I the said
Sheriff under said writ, might could or ought to sell the
same - Given under my hand & seal this the 4th day

County of Alachua } This Indenture made the Twenty Seventh
day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hun
=dred & Sixty Seven between Cosmoe O. Bailey administrator of all
Singular the goods & chattles, rights & credits which were of the
Estate of the late James B. Bailey deceased of Alachua County
and State of Florida of the first part, and Daniel M. Finger and
Francis V. Seagle of said County & State of the second part
Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, by virtue
& authority to him given under the Statutes in the State in
as much as a bond for titles was given by his intestate in
in his life time to convey the following described lands
made and executed the fifth day of March AD 1867 and
recorded in the Clerks office for Alachua & for and in
consideration of the sum of Nine hundred Ninety one & 15/100
