This Indenture made and entered
into this thirteenth day of June AD eighteen hundred
& Sixty Seven, by and between Stephen F. Harvard of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida party of the first part
                          said 
and Kennedy D. Smith of the^County & State party of the second
part - Witnesseth, the said party of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty dollars
lawful money of the United States to him in hand paid at
and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, as well as for
the further consideration of four certain promissory notes bearing
even date with these presents for the sum of Four hundred
dollars Signed by the said Kennedy D. Smith, and made
payable to the said Stephen F. Harvard or order on the first
day of January AD Eighteen hundred and Sixty Eight, with
Eight per cent interest form date - Hath granted
bargained, sold, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these 
presents doth grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm
unto the said Kennedy D. Smith his heirs, Executors, admin
=istrators and assigns - All that certain lot or parcel
of land lying and being Situated in the Town of Gainesville
as follows Viz The South half of Lot number Ten (10)
as will more fully appear by reference to a plat of said
Town made by P. Henry Young containing One half acre
more or less - Together with all and Singular the
tenements, Heriditaments, and appurtinances, whatsoever
thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining
To Have and to hold, the said lot or parcel of Land
with the appurtinances unto the said Kennedy K. Smith
his heirs Executors, administrators and assigns forever
