I, S.P. Bevill Clerk of the Circuit Court for the County of
Alachua State of Florida do hereby Certify that I saw the
foregoing Deed signed Sealed and delivered for the express
purposes therein set forth

                  This Indenture made and entered into this
fourth day of July in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred
and Sixty seven between Matilda S. Brown of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida of the first part and Jno R.
Bevill of the above named County and State of the second 
part. Witnesseth that the said Matilda S. Brown for and 
in consideration of the sum of six hundred and forty Dollars 
to her in hand paid by the said Jno R. Bevill the receipt 
whereof is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents give
grant, bargain sell and Convey unto the said Jno R. Bevill
his heirs and assigns a certain piece or parcel of land
lying and being in said State and County and Known and 
designated as follows: Commencing at a point where the
public road leading from Newnansville to Ocala where it
enters the lane between James B. Dawkins and Jno R. Bevill
fields, and running North along the public road four hundred
yards, thence East to the Section line thence, South four
hundred yards to Corner of Section of Section (30) thence
West to public road again in section thirty (30) Township nine
(9) & Range nineteen (19) Containing Sixty four Acreas  of
land be the same more or less together with all the priviledges
and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertain-
-ing to have and to hold the above granted premises to the said
Jno R. Bevill his heirs and assigns in fee simple.
      said 
And the^Matilda S. Brown will and her heirs Executors and
Administrators forever warrant and defend against
the lawful demands of all persons whatsoever
    In Testimony whereof the said Matilda S. Brown has
hereunto set her hand and Seal the day and year above
