State of Florida  } And comes Mrs Hattie S. Nigles wife
County of Alachua } of the aforesaid William F. Nigles and
                    being by me examined separate and
apart from her said husband acknowledges that she made
herself a party to the foregoing Deed of Conveyance and
relinquishment of Dower and renunciation of the same,
freely voluntarily and without compulsion, or restraint fear
or apprehension of or from her said husband
   Signed Sealed and delivered this 9th day of
August AD 1867

                    Whereas Thomas R. McClintock lately
died intestate leaving with others as his heirs at Law Mrs
Amanda J. Matthews (wife of John T. Matthews) his daughter
and whereas on the thirteenth day of February Eighteen
hundred & Sixty a Settlement was had with James R.
McClintock administrator of said Thomas R. McClintock
and the interest of Mrs Amanda J. Matthews was settled
in & to the Estate of her Father Thomas R. McClintock at the
sum of Seven thousand Seven hundred dollars - Now
this instrument is Signed and intended to be recorded
according to the Statutes of the State of Florida for the purpose
of asserting claiming and establishing the said sum of
Seven thousand Seven hundred dollars as her separate and
independent property beyond the control of her said hus
=band - And likewise the sum of One hundred & fifty four
dollars & thirty three cents money received from Job Patterson
administrator of Mrs Mary Ann Cohern who was the ant
of Mrs Amanda J. Matthews, is hereby inventoried and
recorded for the purposes as above named this the 25th
