G. Colson to James B. Bailey Treasurer of said County, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, have bargained, sold, released
conveyed and confirmed unto William G. Colson his heirs and 
assigns the following lot of land in the Town of Gainesville to
wit, lot 2, Block 3 Range 5 and I the said Andrew Robb by
virtue of the power vested in me as Judge of Probate for myself
as such Judge, and for my successors in office, do and will by
these presents forever warrant, and defend the premises aforesaid
to the said William G. Colson, and to his heirs and assigns
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my
private seal there being no seal of office, this Twentyeth (20) day of October

State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that I William
G. Colson of the State & County aforesaid for and in consideration of
the sum of Two hundred dollars paid by Stephen McCall of the 
same place do hereby transfer and sign over all my right title claim
and demand to the within lot or parcel of land to the said Stephen
McCall his heirs and assigns and I hereby warrant and defend the
same against myself my heirs and assigns

Personally appeared before me William G. Colson who being duly
sworn says that he signed the foregoing transfer for the uses and
purposes therein set forth - Sworn to before me this 30th day of

Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 18th of
December 1866 Between James G. Cooper of the State and
County above named of the first part, and Daniel Todd
of the same State and County Waculla of the Second
part = Witnesseth that the said James G. Cooper of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of Ten
thousand Dollars, To him in hand paid and truly paid
by the said Daniel Todd as aforesaid party of the second 
part, hath, granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed
and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant
bargain, sell convey, alien and confirm, unto the said
party of the second part all that tract or parcel of land
lying and being in the County of Alachua, State aforesaid
and containing Twelve hundred & forty acres more or less and
