This Indenture made this Eight
day of February 1864 between Burrell T. Stokes of the
County of Levy and State of Florida of the one part,
and Ignatious Griffin of the County of Alachua, and
State aforesaid, of the Second part, Witnesseth, that
the said Burrell T. Stokes, for and in Consideration
of the Sum of Eight hundred dollars, to him in hand
paid by the said Ignatious Griffin, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, has this day bargained
Sold, and Conveyed, and by these presents does bargain
Sell, and Convey unto the Said Ignatious Griffin, all
that tract of land lying in the County of Alachua, and
State of Florida Known as the North half of the North
east Corner of section Twenty Six, Township Ten Range
Seventeen, containing Eighty acres more or less
