Said County duly Commissioned and qualified, and
as Such all his acts and doings are entitled to full
faith and Credit - In testimony whereof I have here

        This Indenture made the 15th day of Decem
=ber in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and
Sixty Six = Between Thomas C. Standley of the County of Marion
State of Florida of the first part, and J.B. Brown of the
County of Alachua & State aforesaid of the Second part, Witnesseth
that the said party of the first part, for and in Consideration
of the Sum of Two hundred ($200) dollars, lawful Money of the
United States of America, to him in hand paid at & before
the ensealing & delivery of these presents, doth grant, Sell,
release & Convey to the Said party of the Second part, his
heirs and assigns forever, all that piece or parcel of land
lying & being in the town of Gainesville, and described as
follows = to wit: Block five (5) of Range five (5), together
with all and Singular the tenements, hereditaments &
appurtinances, and all the Estate, title & interest, of the
Said party of the first part therein Contained, And the
party of the first part, doth hereby Covenant & agree, to, and
with the party of the Second part, that at the time of
the delivery hereof the said party of the first part is the law
=ful owner of the premises above granted & Signed thereof
in fee Simple absolute and that he will warrant &
defend the above granted premises, in the quiet and
peaceable possession of the party of the Second part, his
heirs and assigns forever - In Witness whereof, I have
hereunto Set my hand & Seal the day and date as above
