                  This Indenture made this fourteenth
day of September, In the year of our Lord One thousand
Eight hundred & sixty seven Between James B. Brown of
the County of Alachua State of Florida of the first part
And Edmund Jones of the same State & County of the second
part Witnesseth That the said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Sixteen hundred &
fifty ($1650) Dollars Lawful money to him in hand paid at
and before the Sealing & delivery of these presents, Doth
grant, sell release and convey to the said party of the second
part, his heirs and assigns forever, all that certain piece or 
parcel of land lying or being in the City of Gainesville
and described as follows to wit - North half of Block
five (5) of Range five (5) joining lot sold to J.L. McMillon
Together with all and Singular the tenements hereditaments &
appurtinances and all the estate title & interest of the said
party of the first part doth hereby covenant and agree to 
and with the party of the second part, That at the time of the
delivery hereof, the said party of the first part is the lawful
owner of the premises above granted, and seized thereof in
fee simple and the said party of the first part for himself
his heirs and assigns Shall and will warrant and defend
the above described premises and the right and title there
unto, said party of the second part his heirs and assigns
from and against him and themselves, and against the
claims of all persons whatsoever
