into this the 12th day of March in the year of our
Lord One thousand Eight hundred & Sixty * one
between Jacob Smith and his wife Mary H. Smith of
the County and State aforesaid, of the first part, and
Elias Smith of the Second part all of the same place
Witnesseth that the said Jacob Smith and Mary
L. Smith have this day in consideration of the Sum
of Twelve hundred dollars to them in hand paid
at the Sealing & delivery of these presents, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, have this day bargai
ned & Sold and by these presents do bargain & sell
and deliver to the said Elias Smith: all that parcel
