This Indenture made and entered
into this Twenty Third day of May A.D. One Thousand Eight
Hundred and Sixty Seven between James J. Mixon of the Said
County and State party of the First part and Elizabeth S. Mixon
of the Same place Party of the Second Part - Witnesseth -
That the said James J. Mixon for and in consideration
of the love and Affection which he bears his said Wife Elizabeth
S. Mixon And as well as one dollar to him in hand paid by
her the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted,
bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents doth grant
bargain, sell and convey, unto the said Elizabeth S. Mixon all
the Real and Personal property herein after described as follows to wit
The Lands Known and described as the South East quarter of the
North East quarter and the East half of the North West quarter of
Section Twenty one in Township Eleven South of Range Eighteen
East containing One Hundred and Twenty acres more or less
Also the North half of the North East quarter of Section Twenty
one of Township Eleven South of Range Eighteen East Containing
Eighty 31/100 Acres
Also the SE quarter of the South East quarter of Section
Sixteen, South of Range Eighteen East containing forty 21/100 Acres
Also the following described personal property to wit; One
dark Bay Horse, one light Bay Mare, One Sorrell Mule, Also
thirty head of cattle marked as follows: Crop, two splits and under
bit in one ear, under slope in the other; crop split and upper bit
in one ear, and smooth Crop in the other; under and upper bit
in one ear, split in the other respectively - Branded "RB" Also thirty
head of Hogs more or less, marked Crop split and upper bit in
one ear and Crop in the other, One sow marked crop two Splits
and under bit in one ear, two under bits in the other, together
with one wagon and all farming utensils, house and Kitchen
furniture. To have and to hold, the above described property
unto the Said Elizabeth S. Mixon her heirs administrators and
assigns in Fee Simple Forever.
