defend to the Said John G. Reardon his heirs and assigns
the right and title to the premises hereby granted and
Conveyed, against the Claim of all persons whatsoever

Caroline V. Lassiter, the wife of Samuel Lassiter the grantor of the
foregoing deed for and in Consideration of the premises in
Said deed recited, and in further Consideration of the sum
of Five dollars to me in hand paid by John G. Reardon
at and before, the Sealing and delivery of these presents do
hereby renounce, release, relinquish, and forever quit claim
unto the Said John G. Reardon and to his heirs and assigns
all my right, claim, and Equity of dower, in and to the
premises by said deed Conveyed, as fully and absolutely as
I might or could do the Same Witness my hand and Seal
this 19th of September 1854

Alachua County } Personally appeared before me the
Subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for Said County
Mrs Caroline V. Lassiter to me well Known to be the person
who executed the above relinquishment of dower, and she
being by me examined Separate and apart from her husband
declares that She had executed the Same freely and voluntarily
and without any Compulsion, Constraint, apprehension or fear
of or from her Said husband, Witness my hand and Seal
this 19th day of September 1854
