                 Know all men by these presents that I
John G. Colson, of the County of Alachua State aforesaid for
and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to
me in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
do hereby give grant bargain and sell and convey to H.
B. Scott of the same State and County his heirs executors
administrators and assigns all the certain pieces of 
land lying and being in Alachua County and State of
Florida, and which are known and described as follows
to wit: The South East quarter of the North West Quarter
and the South West Quarter of the North East Quarter of
Section Twenty, Township 7 South Range 20 East, To 
Have and to hold the same together with all and singu
=lar the tenements hereditaments and appurtinances to
the said H.B. Scott his heirs Executors, administrators
and assigns in fee simple forever and I the said
John G. Colson, for myself my heirs executors administra
=tors and assigns do covenant with the said H.B. Scott
his heirs executors, administrators and assigns that I am
lawfully seized in fee of the aforesaid premises; that I
have good right to sell and convey the same and that I
will and my heirs Executors, and administrators shall
warrant and defend the same to the said H.B. Scott
his heirs executors and administrators forever, against the
lawful claims and demands of all persons, and for the
consideration aforesaid and for other good and
valuable consideration, I Sarah F. Colson wife of the said
John G. Colson do hereby release and quit claim to the 
said H.B. Scott his heirs executors and administrators
all my right claim or possibility of dower in or out of the
aforesaid premises - In Witness whereof we the said
John G. Colson and Sarah F. Colson have hereunto set
our hands and seals this 30th day of November AD 1867
