  This Indenture made the twentieth day of January
in the year One thousand Eight hundred & Sixty Six, between
C.M. Reardon Administratrix and John M. McIntosh Admin
-istrator, of all and Singular, the goods, chattles, rights and 
Credits, which were of John G. Reardon, late of Marion County
Florida, who died intestate of the one part, and James O. Brown
of the same place of the second part  Whereas the said John
G. Reardon in his life time and at the time  of his death was
lawfully Seized in his demise as of fee, of in 5the following
described lots of land, Situate in the town of Newnansville and
County of Alachua and State of Florida, Known and described
as follows, Lots No one (1) and two (2) and part of No (3) three also
parts of Lots Seven (7) and Eight (8) in Block No four (4) Range No
two (2) bounded as follows Commencing on the North West Corner
of said Block running East two hundred and Ninety (290) feet
thence South two hundred & ten (210) feet thence West one hundred &
fifty five (155) feet, to the North West corner of Jessie T. Bernards lot
thence South Ninetysix (96) feet to the North East corner of Dr E.R.
Powers lot, thence West One hundred & thirty five (135) feet thence North
three hundred & six (306) feet, to the place of beginning or North West
Corner, except so much of said lot as is occupied by John G. Rawls
where his Store House Stands, which commences One hundred & three (103
feet South of the beginning or North West Corner of Said Block
running fifty five (55) feet front, and Seventy Six (76) feet back or East
and whereas the Administratrix of said Estate was lawfully
Committed to the said Caroline M. Reardon and John M. McIntosh
who having undertaken the same, did render the account of the
administration aforesaid before the Judge of Probate of the County
aforesaid, by which appeared that the personal Estate of the said
John G. Reardon deceased, without the real Estate was not sufficient
to pay his debts and raise and educate his children & whereas by the
petition C.M. Reardon and John M. McIntosh to the said Judge Setting
forth the premises & praying the said Court to allow them to make
Sale of said Lots for the purposes set forth in their said petition
it was thereupon Considered and ordered by the said Court
that the above mentioned lots be sold at private Sale according to
the prayer of said petitioners, as by the records and proceedings
of the said Court relation being thereunto had appears in
pursuance of which said order the said C.M. Reardon Admin
-istratrix and John M. McIntosh Admr as aforesaid did on the
           day of         AD Eighteen hundred & Sixty Six Make
Sale of the said lots privately to James O. Brown for the Sum of
Four hundred and fifty dollars, which Sales in report thereof 
made to the said Court, was on the said day Confirmed, and it
was considered and adjudged by the said Court that the same 
Should be and remain firm and stable forever, as by the records &
proceedings of the Said Court relation being thereunto had will at
large appeare Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said
