Alachua County   } This Indenture made this the 10th Tenth
day of December Eighteen hundred & Sixty Seven between William
R. Lewis of said State and County, of the first part, and
his wife Joanna P. Lewis and children William Dixon Lewis
Mary Elizabeth Lewis, Thomas Boulware Lewis and Martha
Paulline Lewis, and the children of the Said William R. Lewis
and the Said Joanna P. Lewis of the Second part. Witnesseth
That for and in Consideration of the great love and affection
which the Said William R. Lewis bears to his wife and Children
as well for the further Consideration of Five dollars paid to
the Said party of the first part, by the party of the Second part
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, The said party
of the first part does, grant give, Convey and Confirm unto
the parties of the Second part, their heirs Executors, adminis
=trators and assigns, The following property To wit: One Bay
Mare Mule (named Eliza), One dark mare mule (named
(Beck) One dark mare Mule (named Pegron) One Red mare
mule (named Mary) One Sorrel Colt (named Button) One Bay
mare (named Lizzie Myres) One Sorrell mare (named Ring foot)
One Bay Mare (named Clary Fisher) One Bay Mare Colt (named
Nancy Rollin) One Sorrell Colt (named Bill) One Sorrel Colt
(named Diller) One Bay Horse (named Bragg) One Sorrell mare
(named High Shot) One Sorrell Colt (named Charlie) One Roan
Colt (named Fanny) One Bay Colt (named Sallie) One large four
Horse Waggon, One two Horse Waggon, One Cart Five hundred
bushel Corn, Fifteen Bales Cotton on lands hereinafter mentioned
Together with all that parcel of land lying in Said State and
County, and the interest and property and Estate Conveyed by
Musco Boulware to the said William R. Lewis the grantor herein
being all the Estate So granted by the said Musco Boulware to the
Said William R. Lewis being One half interest in the said
Recorded in Book D on the Records of Deeds in said County
on pages 671 and 672 and also one fifth interest in the San
-ta fee Mills owned by the Said William R. Lewis - all the
aforementioned personal and Real Estate the Said party
of the first part for and in Consideration of his great love
and affection as aforesaid, as well for the Consideration of
five dollars as aforesaid paid to him, does grant, bargain
Sell, Alien and Convey, and by these presents does forever Confirm
unto the Said parties of the Second part their heirs, Executors
administrators, and assigns, all the afore mentioned personal
and real Estate, together with all the rights privileges, and
appurtinances thereunto belonging - To Have and to
hold unto the said parties of the Second part jointly
absolutely, and in fee Simple, for their own proper use, as
also for the use and behoof of any child or children of
the Said William R. Lewis, and the Said Joanna P. Lewis that
