This Indenture Made and entered into this
twenty sixth day of September in the year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred & sixty three, between William S.
Perry and Mary J. his wife of the County of Alachua and State
of Florida of the first part, and Andrew Ormand of the
Same place of the second part, Witnesseth That the said
parties of the first part for and in consideration of the
sum of thirty five hundred dollars to them in hand paid
by the said party of the second part at and before the
Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold, aliened
remised, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these
presents do bargain, sell, alien, remise, release, convey and
confirm unto the said party of the second part, all that
certain tract or parcel of land lying and situate in the County
of Alachua and State of Florida and known and distinguished 
as the North West Quarter of Section Sixteen in Township
Ten South of Range Twenty two East & the North East Quarter of
Section Sixteen in Township Ten South of Range Twenty two East and 
the West half of the South West Quarter, and the North East Quar
=ter of the South West Quarter, and the South West Quarter of the
South East Quarter of Section Sixteen in Township Ten South of
Range Twenty two East containing four hundred & seventy nine
27/100 acres more or less, Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments, improvements, and appurtinances thereunto belonging or in
any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions, remainder
and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof, and also all the
estate, right, title, interest dower and right of dower, property possession
claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as in Equity of 
the said parties of the first part of in and to the same, and every
part and parcel therein with the appurtinances - To Have and
to hold the above granted and described premises with the
appurtinances to the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns to their own proper use benefit and behoof forever =
and the said William S. Perry for himself his heirs executors
and administrators doth hereby covenant and agree to and with
the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, that he
is possessed in his own right of a good and indefeasible estate
of inheritance in fee simple of and in all and Singular the above
granted and described premises with the appurtinances, and
has good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the
same in manner aforesaid - And that the said William S.
Perry for himself his heirs Executors and administrators unto the
said party of the second part his heirs Executors and administrators
and assigns, against him the said William S. Perry, and against
any and all persons whomsoever, the above mentioned and describ
=ed premises with the appurtinances, Shall and will warrant and
forever defend by these presents - In testimony whereof the said
