Alachua County  }  Know all men by these presents that
I Charles E. Haile of the County & State aforesaid for and
in Consideration of the Sum of three thousand Dollars to
him in hand paid by Amelia Haile of the Same County
& State the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
doth hereby grant bargain, Sell and Convey to the said
Amelia Haile her heirs and assigns forever the following
real estate to wit NE 1/4 quarter & NW 1/4 Section 25 Range
18 Township 9 Containing 240 acres as by return made
by the U.S. Surveys to the Land Office at Newnansville Florida
together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the
Same belonging To Have and to hold the same to the said
Amelia Haile her heirs and assign forever The grantor hereby
Covenanting with the grantee her heirs and assigns that the
title So Conveyed is clear free & unencumbered and that
he will warrant and forever defend the same against all
claims whatsoever In Witness whereof the said Charles E. Haile
doth hereunto Set his hand & Seal this Twenty third day of
December AD 1867

Alachua County  } P. Bevill Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for
the County of Alachua State aforesaid Elise M. Haile wife of
Charles E. Haile who being examined before me Separate and
apart from her said husband acknowledged under her hand
& Seal that this relinquishment & renunciation of dower in
the above described lands is made freely and Voluntarily and
without and Compulsion Constraint, apprehension or fear of
or from her said husband      Given under my hand &
