This Indenture made this the twenty first day of
October in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and sixty seven between Henry Harold in
the County of Alachua and State of Florida, of the first
part and Dorcas Harrell of the same place of the 2nd
part -
       Whereas the said Henry Harold is desirous to make
provisions for his wife Dorcass Harold now of the age of 
thirty years, against future contingencies, and for her
maintenance and support; and whereas, the said Harold
is desirous that his said wife should enjoy the proceeds,
rents, issues and income of the property, goods and chattels
hereinafter more particularly described, during the term
of her natural life, free from the control, liabilities, or inter=
ference of any husband that she now has or may hereafter have,
Now therefore this indenture witnesseth that the said Henry
Harold, inconsideration of the premises, and of the sum of
one dollar lawful money of the United States to him in hand
paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, aliened, remised,
released, conveyed, and confirmed, and by these presents doth
bargain, sell, alien, remise, release, convey & confirm unto the said
party of the second part, all that stock of cattle containing
thirty head, marked with under slope and upper bit in one
ear, smooth crop in the other, branded with the letter H
& two *** laps. Also one Bay Mare about fourteen years
