This Indenture made this the first day of
July in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred &
forty Six, Between Eliza M. Whitwell of the City of Philadelphia
State of Pennsylvania, James E. Garvin, William T. Garvin and
George J.F. Garvin of the City of St Augustine, State of Florida
Children and heirs of William Garvin, deceased of the
first part & Mrs Sarah Peck administratrix of the Estate
of Seth S. Peck dec of the said City of St Augustine of the
Second part - Whereas Mrs Felicia M. Garvin, widow of the said
William Garvin, by her agent and attorney, Peter S. Smith, has Sold
and Conveyed an interest of four hundred (400) acres in a
tract or grant of land lying in Alachua County in said
State of Florida, at a place Known as Youngbloods Hammock
for the Sum of four hundred ($400) dollars: and whereas
Said land was to have been Sold for One dollar & a quarter
per acre: and whereas the heirs of Said William Garvin are
willing to Confirm the Said Sale to the Said party of the Second
part, on Condition of the payment to them of the additional One
hundred ($100) dollars required to make up the amount of One
dollar and a quarter per acre

=eth, that the Said parties of the first part for & in Consid
=eration of the payment of four hundred dollars already made
to the Said Felicia M. Garvin and also in the Consideration
of the Sum of One hundred ($100) dollars lawful Money of the
United States of America to them in hand paid by the Said
party of the Second part, at or before the ensealing & delivery of
these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
granted, bargained, Sold, Alien, Conveyed & Confirmed, and
by these presents, do grant, bargain, Sell, Alien, Convey and
Confirm unto the said party of the Second part, to her heirs
& assigns forever, all that undivided four hundred acres land
lying and being in the County of Alachua in Said State of Florida
