Alachua County   }
                      This Indenture made this Sixth
day of January AD 1868 between John O. Cosby Sheriff
of Said County of the first part, and Washington
Morrison of the Second part, Whereas by virtue of a
writ of fieri facias, issued out of the Circuit Court
holden in and for said County of Alachua, and
to the Sheriff delivered he was commanded that of the
goods & chattles, lands & tenements of Crogan A. Ramsey
he cause to be made the Sum of Three hundred & forty
four Dollars and forty Cents with interest therein and
Cost of Suit which Joseph A. Claghorn and John
Cunningham Merchants doing business under the
name Style & firm of Claghorn & Cunningham lately
recovered in the Circuit Court of Alachua County against
Crogan A. Ramsey and William C.H. Rainy merchants
and partners Doing business under the name of Ramsey
& Rainey, and Whereas the said Sheriff by virtue of said
writ did on the Twenty Seventh day of November AD 1867
levy upon and Seize the property herein after described
and whereas the said John O. Cosby as Sheriff as afore
=Said did by virtue of Said writ, and pursuant to
the Statutes in Such Case made, duly advertise the Said
property for Sale on the Sixth day of January AD 1868
being the day and date of these presents, and did on
this day sell the Same at public Auction according to
the law to the Said Washington Morrison for the Sum of
ten dollars being the highest bid for the Same, Now
therefore Know Ye that I the Said John O. Cosby as said
Sheriff, by virtue of the Said writ, and of the Statutes in
