Such Case made and provided in Consideration
of the said sum of Ten dollars to me paid by
the party of the Second part, have granted, bargained
and Sold, and by these presents do grant bargain Sell
unto the party of the Second part, his heirs and assigns
All the following property Viz lying and being in the
Town of Gainesville, County of Alachua State of Florida
That is to Say, all that Lot or parcel of land, Known
and described on the Map of the said town as Lot
No 2 Block 3 Range 2, The same having Sixty feet front
on the South Side of the Court House Square, and runn
=ing South One hundred & Ninety Seven feet deep, Together
with all the right title interest and appurtinances
which the said Crogan A. Ramsey had in the said
property, jointly and Severally and the same to hold as fully
as I the said Sheriff as aforesaid under said writ
could or ought to Sell and Convey the same, Given under
my hand and Seal this Sixth day of January AD 1868

     Know all Men by these presents That I Johanna Long
wife of Max Long of the City of Brooklin, County of Kings, and State
of New York formerly Johanna Burgheim widow of John H.
Burgheim late of Alachua County in the State of Florida have
made, constituted and appointed, and by these presents do make
constitute and appoint Max Long of the said City of Brooklyn
Kings County New York State my true & Lawfull attorney for me
and in my name place and stead and for my use and benefit
to ask demand Sue for recover and receive of and from
Morris G. Joseph administrator of the Estate and effects of
the said John H. Burgheim deceased all and every sum and
Sums of Money or other Estate real and personal to which
I am or may be entitled to either for dower or otherwise as
the widow and relict of the said John H. Burgheim deceased
and for that purpose to execute Sign Seal and deliver all
deeds, releases, receipts or other acquittance or discharges
that may be necessary in my name as my act and deed
