Eliza M. Beatty therein named for and in consi
=deration of the sum of one Dollar to me in hand
paid, and divers other good and valuable causes and
considerations me thereunto moving, Do hereby freely and
voluntarily renounce, relinquish and release, to the
said Eliza M. Beatty her heirs and assigns all my
right title or claim of in and to Dower, in the lands
tenements and premises therein conveyed and every part
and parcel thereof, And I do hereby acknowledge
under my hand & seal that said relinquishment
is made freely and voluntarily and without any
constraint, apprehension or fear of or from my
said husband - In Witness whereof I have here
unto set my hand & seal this the twenty ninth day of
October AD 1867

certify that the above named Douglas P. Beatty, granter
in the foregoing deed of bargain and sale of real
estate personally appeared before me and acknowl
=edged, that he Signed, Sealed and delivered the same
purposes therein mentioned, and also personally appear
=ed before me Mrs Elizabeth Beatty wife of Douglas
P. Beatty who being examined by me separately and
apart from her said husband acknowledged the foregoing
renunciation of dower to be her act and deed, and the
Seal and Signature thereto genuine, and further
acknowledged that said relinquishment of dower is
made freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion
constraint, apprehension or fear of or from her said
husband - Given under my hand and seal
