a Justice of the peace in and for the said County Jane C. Webb
who being duly examined Separate and apart from her hus
=band says that is of her own free will and accord, and with
=out any fear or compulsion upon the part of her husband that
she signs the foregoing Deed of Conveyance from her husband
to George Gillett

Alachua County   } This Indenture made and executed this
the Second day of December in the year of our Lord Eighteen hun
=dred & Sixty Seven Between George Gillett of the State and County afore
=said of the first part, and James T. Thomas of the second part
Witnesseth that the said George Gillett for and in consideration 
of the sum of ($900 0/100) Nine hundred Dollars to him in hand
paid by the said James T. Thomas, The receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold convey
and delivered, and by these presents doth grant bargain sell
convey and deliver unto the said James T. Thomas his heirs and
assigns all the following described lots or parcel of land lying
and being in the County of Alachua and known as the North
East quarter of the South West quarter in Section Eight
Township Ten South Range Twenty two East containing Thirty nine
and 90/100 acres, and the South West quarter of the South
East quarter of Section Eight Township Ten South of Range
Twenty two East containing thirty nine and 90/100 acres The South
East quarter of the South West quarter of Section eight in Township
Ten, South of Range Twenty two East containing containing Thirty
nine and 90/100 acres, also the East half of the South West quarter
in Section Seventeen in Township Ten South of Range Twenty two
East containing Eighty acres. To have and to hold the said
before described premises together with all and singular the
tenements, hereditaments and appurtinances thereto belonging
to him the said James T. Thomas his heirs and assigns forever in
fee simple. And the said George Gillett for himself his
heirs executors and administrators will warrant and forever
defend the right and title thereunto against the claims of
persons or persons whatever. In testimony whereof the said George
Gillett Hereunto set his hand and seal this the day and
