Alachua County   } Personally appeared before me
W.H. Sanders a Justice of the Peace in and for the County of
Alachua, Mary Gillett who being duly examined, Separate
and apart from her said husband, says the it is of her
own free will and accord and without any fear or compul
=sion upon the part of her husband that she signs the
foregoing Deed of conveyance from her husband to James
T. Thomas

Alachua County   } This Indenture made this Eighth day
of January in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred
& sixty eight between Thomas Little of the first part and Lewis Cook
of the second part all of the State and County aforesaid:
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one
hundred Dollars, to him in hand paid by the party of the 
second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the
party of the first part does by these presents, give, grant, bargain
sell, and convey unto the party of the second part, his heirs
and assigns, the following described piece of Land, lying
and being situated in the County of Alachua in the State of 
Florida and contiguous to the Town of Gainesville, as described
by a map of the said Town, That is to say: the boundaries of
said lot of land conveyed by these presents is thus ascertained;
Starting from the center of the Court House and proceeding due
East one hundred & Sixty five feet to the Center of a Street thence
South along the Center of said Street, Six hundred & Sixty five
feet to the center of another Street; thence East two hundred & Sixty
five feet, to the center of another street, thence South along the center
of said Street, nine hundred and twenty nine feet; thence west
twenty feet to the West side of said Street, thence South across
a street thirty feet and continuing south from this point last
named two hundred feet to a street, thence West one hundred
feet to a point at which the property conveyed by these presents
commences to be bounded; thence North one hundred feet
thence West one hundred feet, thence South one hundred feet
thence East one hundred feet, to place of commencing the bounding
of the said lot of land, together with all the privileges and
appurtinances, thereunto belonging, To have and to hold the
above granted premises unto the said Lewis Cook his heirs and
