James Chesnut of the County of Alachua State of Florida for
and in Consideration of the love and affection which I bear to
my wife Amelia B. Chesnut and for and in Consideration of
the Sum of One dollar to me in hand paid the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained, conveyed
released & delivered to the Said Amelia B. Chesnut my
wife & by these presents to grant, bargain, convey release and
deliver to her all that certain piece or parcel of Land Situate
lying and being in Alachua County Florida known as the SW
1/4 of Sec 3 Lot No 2 of Sec 3, SE 1/4 of Sec 9 W 1/2 Sec 15 Lot Nos
1 & 2 of Sec 10 N1/2 NW 1/4 Sec 15 & Lot No 1 of Sec 15 all in
Township Nine (9) Range Eighteen S&E containing nine hundred
& five acres more or less. To Have & to hold the above described
Lands to her forever, Also the following personal property Six
head of Mules (Mary a bay) Jane a bay John mouse Coloured
(Martha a black (Beck Black) Ellick mouse Coloured) about
25 head of Stock cattle marked under Square in each Ear
branded ABC the house hold and Kitchen furniture, two four
horse waggons, gears, plantation tools, one four Seated buggy
One dozen Silver table Spoons, two dozen Silver tea spoons, one
Silver Milk Pot & Sugar dish, three pair of Silver ladles & one
large Silver soup ladle, two dozen Silver forks, four Silver goblets
1 Small Silver waiter & one pair of Silver Salt cellars
  To have and to hold all the above described real & personal
property unto Amelia B. Chesnut forever free from any of my
debts or liabilities reserving to myself alone the right to control
& manage the Same, Given under my hand & Seal this 20th day
of January AD 1868
