Feby 1868 Eighteen hundred & Sixty Eight, between Jacob
E. Dodd of the County & State above described of the
first part and John W. Summers of the same State &
County of the Second part Witnesseth, That the
Said Jacob E. Dodd of the first part for and in
Consideration of the Sum of One thousand Dollars in
hand paid by the said John W. Summers, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained
& Sold, and doth by these presents, grant, bargain, Sell
& Convey and Confirm unto the said John W. Summers
his heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever all
and Singular that Certain piece or parcel of land Situ
=ated in the County of Alachua State of Florida, that part
of the South East Quarter of Section three (3) Township Eight
(8) S. Range Eighteen East Laying South of the Road leading
from Newnansville to Lake City called the Belamy Road
Containing One hundred acres more or less, Together with

L. Dodd, wife of the grantee above named for and in Consi

for the further Consideration of One Dollar to me in hand
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do
hereby release and relinquish all my dower and Equity of
dower and to the premises in said Deed Mentioned
unto the Said John W. Summers, his heirs Executors, adminis
=trators and assigns forever, and I do hereby declare and
acknowledge that I executed this acknowledgement of
