Said Jacob E. Dodd being examined by me Separate
and apart from her husband did further acknowl

Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 4th
day of February Eighteen hundred & Sixty Eight, between
Jacob E. Dodd of the County & State above written of the
first part and John W. Summers of the same place of
the Second part - Witnesseth, That the said Jacob
E. Dodd, for and in Consideration of the Sum of
Thirty five hundred dollars in hand paid by the
Said John Summers, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, hath granted, Bargained, and Sold
and by these presents, doth grant, Bargain Sell and
Convey and Confirm unto the said John W. Summ
=ers his heirs Executors, administrators and assigns forever
all that Certain parcel or lot of land lying and being
in the County and State above written near the Town of
Newnansville in said County, bounded and desc
=ribed as follows To Wit: Beginning at a Stake near the
north Side of the Gallows Pond near said Pond in the
County and State aforesaid and running thence with
a variation of four degrees & twelve Minutes) North
Fifty degrees East Six chains to Stake thence with
a variation Eight degrees West Eight chains and
